New WP 4054 Fork service kit availible
While I was restoring my 87 Husky 430 CR I was rebuilding the WP 4054 forks. I ordered the correct springs from Race Tech, then I began looking for fork seals and bottom out bumpers as the originals turned into mush. Both Parts were difficult to locate. The bottom out bumpers have been discontinued since the late 1990’s. I was able to buy a NOS set. I sent them out for testing and made a model them. The Speed Wolf forks seals and bottom out bumpers are made from a nitrile composite that is oil resistant and will provide a long service life.
